The files collected in the Baseline Data catalog are a full accounting of the data recorded by the Justice Audit team. The files reflect the Justice Audit methodology’s triangulation strategy. The data are of three types (see the Methodology Page for more information):
Formal Institutions:
Data collected from formal Bangladesh criminal justice institutions, including Police, Prosecution, Legal Services, Courts, and Prisons; and also include key international comparative data.
Citizen Survey:
Data results of a 6000-person survey of 1200 representatively sampled citizens from each of the five pilot districts.
Practitioner Survey:
Data collected from selected practitioners across many criminal justice institutions and related organizations in each of the five pilot districts.
